FAQ

Can someone pick up my packet or can I pick someone else’s packet up?

Yes. You CAN have someone else pick up your race packet for you (or vice versa). It is very common for team members or family members to pick up each others packets especially if they will be traveling to the race together. Packet pickup the morning of the race can be slightly chaotic so we appreciate when 1 person comes to the table to pick up multiple packets instead of a large group.

Can I register on the day of the race?

Yes. However you will pay a premium price and not be guaranteed any additional gifts (tshirt, City Pass, medallion, special annual bib).

When and where can we pick up our packets?

Packet pickup (City Passes, tshirts [if you received them] and bibs) will be at the Ruck on Thursday March 16th from 2pm until 7pm. Packet pickup (again for City Passes, tshirts and bibs) can be collected at the Will Call table in the Arts Center on River Street from 8am until race time on March 18th (race day).

After registering I realized I can not participate. Can I get a refund?

Generally we do not refund registration fees. Let us know what your circumstances are. We do not offer  refunds if you fail to show or if we need to cancel the race because of the weather. This information is in the waiver that you must agree to when registering for the race.

Can I watch the race from the course?

Yes please! Even better – help us out by volunteering! You can stand on the course and help make the event better for everyone!

What charity does the race benefit?

The BID cultivates and advocates the economic growth of Downtown Troy by creating an inviting, dynamic, and sustainable community that celebrates the City’s history while building towards its future.
